Tokio Hotel was in KL!

German pop sensations Tokio Hotel were in KL recently to hold a free concert at 1 Utama on Saturday, 1 May 2010, promoting their new album Humanoid. The much appreciated treat was brought to us by Telekom Malaysia. Five hundred fans queued at the mall from 9.30am to secure tickets for the 6pm concert, and their efforts were not wasted as Tokio Hotel gave an impressive performance. Local bands Pop Shuvit and Punkface kicked off proceedings with rocking sets, until the long awaited rockers appeared on stage. Belting out 14 songs of their most popular tunes, including Automatic, Ready Set Go, World Behind My Wall, they were constantly energetic and hardly stopped to catch a breath.

OK,all formality aside- I totally have a soft spot for emo rockers with eyeliners and black nail polish! Now this is just my thing (leaving Farena out of this!) but there's something about guys who are so sure of their masculinity that they dont mind wearing girly accessories and make up and still look cool...Bill Kaulitz ROCKS!

They hope to come back soon. I can't wait.
